Addressing Janasena Political Affairs Committee (PAC) at the party office in Hyderabad on 25th November, Janasena President Pawan Kalyan said, language is very sensitive issue and it is interlinked with sentiments of the people. Andhra Pradesh is formed on the basis of linguistic States. In such a linguistic State, how it makes sense to remove Telugu language as a medium of teaching in the primary education level.

The culture will be dead and roots of the culture will extinct if we ignore the language. We will be left as outsiders within our own State where our language is not existed. When all the directives by the governments in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu are issued in their own languages, how it makes sense of removing Telugu medium in Telugu schools in our State, said Kalyan.

However, Janasena is not against for English medium as we want Telugu medium also in the schools. The leaders must take this to the people and then people will grasp the good thing our demand, he said.

Civilization will glorify where the rivers exist. Similarly, civilization will flourish where the language exists. Hence, we are initiating “Mana Nudi – Mana Nadi” and it is a continuous programme, he said.

Pawan Kalyan said, “I’m happy for the tremendous response being accorded to food camps organized in the name of Dokka Seethamma. It is a hallmark for the commitment of Jana Sainiks that the food camps organized on November 15 and 16 have fed around 10 lakh building workers.

He also said, many leaders who served the people have been forgotten over a period. We will name great and inspired personalities like Dokka Seethamma to our programmes.

He further said, “Jana Sainiks must be attentive and keep a vigil till the sand is supplied regularly without any hassle. They must bring any discrepancies in the sand supply to the notice of the party.”
